Yeah, far from unplayable. Hard-casting eight mana cards happens all the time in casual. I don't do it personally but for those who do and get enjoyment out of it, why shouldn't they? I for one have seen games won on the back of this card.

Yes, we vorthisian players love the old art version, and not the squalid new one, however I must admit that he is the best planewalker, or at least the most tolerable. timeshifted was so interesting, I wish wizards from time to time tried some duel-from-the-past design, like having alternative artwork version, as in fallen empiries or ice age, antiquities, etc. Or reprinting with the old format some cards ...

Unplayable Ba have you ever heard of a shard called grixis that has mana fixing for just this kind of card. This card is the defention if playable. All you have to do is play this card once during when and oponet has no mana hope they dont destroy it the next turn then you hit them they lose. Now they have to top deck. And top decking a card that will destroy this card is very unlikely. Its like Ghast lord of fugue but way more annoying. This card is defeintly a good finisher.
