This partially solves auras when played at the right time. If they are tapped out, then you at least get one sapproling, and if you played it on a sapproling in the first place (or a tukatongue thallid, or a Mitotic Slime) then you have not lost card advantage. Just this to whatever removal they use. I like to play this with a vines of vastwood in hand, and I attack with an 8/8 if they use removal. Aura card disadvantage is magic 102. You can predict your opponents response to it, and have your own trump card.

Each Time Spiral card was an homage to at least one previously printed card.
The card references a cycle of auras from Urza's Saga which turned a creature into an iconic creature in that color; examples include Vampiric Embrace and Shiv's Embrace. This aura turns a creature into Verdant Force.

My friends and I did a Time Spiral draft recently, and it was down to me and one other guy. He had this in his deck. I lost.

Note that unlike most cards like this you get the token EVERY upkeep, as opposed to just during each of your upkeeps.

It's Verdant Force in aura form.

awsome, verdent force for 5 and all you need is a creature. Hell, and that creature could be more durable than the force itself!

Doubling Season likes this quite a bit. After a couple turns, hit an Overrun and send 'em swinging.

this card is great. combine it with Vitalizing wind after saving up tokens for a few turns.. you all of a sudden have 12 8/8 creatures! If you are playing EDH make sure thalon of havenwood is your commander or verdeloth the ancient
