hmm i wanna find a way to abuse the fact that the bats return just any sengir nosferatu exiled. im thinking making clones and then suspending them or maybe somehow removing them from the game with like doomsday or something
edit: Doomsday+Rings of Brightearth+4 Of these babies.
Cast Doomsday with a Nosferatu in play, then as a Bat copy the ability to bring back multiple Nosferatu. Hm, the cloning doesn't work though i think.

I played this last night and one of my friends didn't get it at first, lol. He was like, "is the bat more powerful?" and I just shook my head. He then proceeded to try and take control of it, and I turned him into the bat, haha.
Thematically one of my favorite cards for black. A little pricey, but really fun.

very nice, love the flavor, and your opponet needs 2+ removal spells as long as you have 2+ mana open

He should have been reprinted in M10, maybe M11...

It can be used to block, and pay the mana cost, instantly removed from combat, and the creature he was blocking was still blocked, and has a 4/4's power dented on it, even if it survived. This is his basic, fundamental use, if I'm correct?
He is invincible if his creature ability can be activated for infinite amount of times same as an instant.
Not two lightning bolt could stop him. Not eight 4 damage instant-targetting could kill him. He would just BE there.
Non target damage spell, or sweepers like Damnation would still get him.

This really wants to be a Double-Faced Card.

I bet he'll show up in M12 or Innistrad.

Interesting that the Vampire is exiled but the Bat dies. I wonder if that was due to space considerations, and if both sides would have "exiled" if the term had existed back then.
