This is a very good classic card. Get yourself a nice fresh hand of cards or force your opponent to draw cards and take Black Vise / Underworld Dreams damage. 4/5
SlackWareWolf, Eppek_the_Goblin is correct. Back in the days of Revised, it was a lot more difficult to win by milling an opponent. Braingeyser was restricted. So, without the Power Nine, especially Time Twister, it was very hard to do with just Braingeyser and Millstone. Also, you said you had 4 Underworld Dreams in a deck ? Underworld Dreams was restricted at that time. So, your deck would have been illegal. Black Vise also became restricted soon after.

Awesome card, boost your own hand or deck the heck out of your opponent. Potential combos:
Runeflare Trap
Underworld Dreams
and a whole lot more.
4.5/5

I love this card. The clear canidate for what drew me to the color blue. I used to deck so many people with this and high tide(including myself)

Although Brain Geyser did give you the option of targeting your opponent, mill wasn't a very effective game strategy during the days of Revised. But it could be combined with Black Vice for significant effect. This card was best used to replenish your own hand.

It's not strictly worse. Braingeyser costs less, so you will be able to pay one more for X. Basically, it's a trade off: would you rather play your spell at instant speed, or be able to draw one more card with it?

I love this card. I've won more games with it than almost any other in Magic. Decking your opponent is good. Specially with infinite Mana combos.
EDIT:
To the person who said back in Revised this wasn't a good way to Mill except for use with Black Vise, well, I started playing when Revised came out, and even back then, there were Vercursion decks, and infinite Mana combos existed, so it was pretty easy to deck your opponent then.
Also, for back when Revised was the main set; Underworld Dreams turned this into not only a way to deck the opponent, but to basically do a LOT of damage. I've won using this card not only decking my opponent, but a few times I've had 4 Underworld Dreams in play, and they take 4 damage per card drawn. It doesn't take much to win with that. Anyway, just wanted to add some of the ways I've won with this, and, of course, Underworld Dreams and this, or Prosperity in Multiplayer, are awesome.

dont know if this is really worse than stroke. stroke is more compatible in a multicolor deck but costs 1 more.

Strictly worse than Stroke of Genius, but still good.
