Brutal sideboard card. I'd love to see this in U/B along with Sanguine Bond.

Life gain in blue? In the early days of Magic, blue was known for its leeching abilities, but it was usually in reference to mana (aka Mana Drain, Mana Short). At an incredible casting cost, Lifetap is absolutely amazing against green. This is perfect for blue, which typically uses stall tactics to get deeper into games.
