If you block a <3/X flier with this, congratulations, you just got a Giant Spider for 2Green.

Same problem with sengir vampire, there will almost never be a time where it will get the counters. Unlike the vampire where it gets counters because the enemy is losing and throwing chump blockers at it, if it does get a counter it means your are going to lose because they are purposely attacking for a reason.

The big paradox is, you need to trick it into play somehow. And if your deck does that, then there are better creatures to surprise your opponent with so you are better of not using it.
