Of course, at the time this card was printed, wasn't the Takara we knew technically Volrath in disguise? I don't think the real Takara made an appearance until the Nemesis novelization.

Useful ability, and the larger hand size helps you get off to a quick size, but the penalty to starting life is rather large. Running early lifegain would be a wise tactic.

This is the closest thing Takara has to a card, and unless she was miraculously timeshifted to the future during her stay in rath (which i honestly think is never going to happen and for good reason) she never will. Poor Takara, never getting any respect.
