The thought of this and Darksteel Colossus going against each other amuses me.

Edit: I just meant visualizing the actual creatures in the world of Magic going at it.

Darksteel Colossus could still deal 10 trample damage. The attacking player must assign at least lethal damage to every creature blocking an attacking creature, must assign the rest of the damage onto blocking creature(s) if his attacking creature does not have trample, and has the right to assign the rest of the damage to the defending player if his attacking creature does have trample. So, ok, your angel doesn't die, but you're pretty much dead.
