@Mode: If you can play it in your desired format? How about get Gauntlet of Might if you can get it using your desired budget? $18 for one copy of a not-tournament-legal card, $40+ if you want the tournament legal versions is a little pricey regardless of if it's strictly better in a mono-red deck. I for one have to take a budget into concern when building decks; more than $10 for a single card is out of my league, and even $10 is crazy for most of my friends.

I wish I had a diamond glove. Especially if it gave me +1/+1 and a ton of magic.

Every card in Time Spiral was a throwback to at least one previously printed card.
This card references Gauntlet of Might.

Pricey, but youch. Not only gives you more mana, but makes your mana better spent by buffing what you summon with it. Besides, one advantage over Mirari's Wake is that you can say "I love the power glove. It's so bad" and your opponent will be unable to continue out of sheer lameness! No card effect can beat that.

While the old school version of this card, Gauntlet of Might, is awesome in mono red decks, this newer version is so much more useful. Mirari's Wake + Shared Triumph rolled up into an artifact = much more playability. This card is perfectly balanced on mana cost for ability use. Just awesome. 5/5

This works fantastically in a mono-anything deck. Great card.

Strictly worse than Mirari's Wake in a multicolor deck.
Strictly better in a mono.
