You care about life totals because if yours hits 0, apparently you lose the game or something.

The other duals of this cycle for reference:

UW - Adarkar Wastes
WR - Battlefield Forge
WB - Caves of Koilos
GW - Brushland
GR - Karplusan Forest
GB - Llanowar Wastes
UR - Shivan Reef
RB - Sulfurous Springs
UB - Underground River
GU - Yavimaya Coast

I always felt that any "pay 1 life" or "deals 1 damage to you" duels were much more powerful in the colors that grant easy lifegain. For example, the life depletion would be negligible in most BlackWhite decks, while most RedBlue decks would have to carefully consider the worth/ need of the right mana at the right time.

Good for any UW deck...who cares about life totals if you are playing UW.

Ajani's Mantra pretty much breaks this whole supercycle.

If you're building on a budget, this is about as close to a dual land as you're gonna get.

It's really not even too bad of a drawback, even in my lifegain deck it's fairly tame.

White for healing and Blue for Knowlege xD lol
Other then the 1Life/Blue or White it seems nice.
Like my deck, I would more then likely have to 'way the consequences' As I am much more Artifact focus then "GIVE ME LIFE!!!!" Focused.

Other then that, very nice Multi-colored land.

Gatherer works better in the Companion app!
