I put 3 of these in my deck and on average I lose 1 life per land per game, making them on par with the $10 duals for the first 3-of. Except I can't run 4 or then I might get stuck with nothing else and lose a lot more life.

Unless you're running spells like Invoke Prejudice (UUUU) or Ayesha Tanaka (WWUU) you really don't lose much life and it stops early game color screw. Dual lands on a budget. Amazing 4.5/5.
