If you know they have no counters of any sort (empty hand, you've checked their hand) it's a pretty awesome finisher. Sure, there are better finishers, but it's dramatic.

Actually, Flavros, Sudden Spoiling wouldn't work here. Sacrificing the creatures is a cost, and costs can't be responded to. For Sudden Spoiling to hose Soulblast, the black player would have to know that you're going to cast the blast the turn he casts the Spoiling - not exactly an easy thing to do.

Man winning with this card is soooo satisfying (and dramatic)! Just put some Overmaster in your deck to make sure that it isn't countered. I use it in my dragons deck, it brings fear in the eyes of my opponent every time I start to count the total power of my creatures lol.
