Only good if your creatures are bigger than your opponents. I never really liked the flowstone stuff...

This card could have costed XR and it still wouldn't have been good. I don't understand how it nearly has a 3 star rating.

Aaand, the Tenth Edition version is the only one with the awesomely hilarious (the descríption just keeps getting worse!!) flavor text. Tenth Edition was, and still is, great. Bonus flavor text on foils, Phage, Crucible of Worlds, just wow. Best core set in my opinion.
