What piece of andon_a's combo would you redirect? The only redirectable spell in there is the Shivan Meteor itself, and what would you change its target to? Any of his creatures would still deal at least 52 damage to you, and since you're a blue player you probably don't have any creature on your side of the battlefield (and, even if you do, you're still 2-for-1'ing yourself, and against a red player, of all colors).

Well, it's a bit of a convoluted combo but I'll mention it anyway.
Four Spitemares, a Mogg Maniac, and a Furnace of Wrath.
Shivan meteor a Spitemare, to target a spitemare, to target a spitemare, to target a spitemare, to target a Mogg Maniac, to target an opponent.
Shivan meteor deals double: That's 26.
Spitemare then deals double. That's 52.
Next spitemare doubles again. That's 104.
Another spitemare puts it up to 208.
Yet another spitemare puts it up to 416.
The Mogg Maniac puts it way up there at 832.
If you add another Furnace, then it's quadrupled to 52/208/832/3328/13312/53248 at each level. A third furnace winds up with a total of 3407872, and four furnaces make it a ridiculous 218103808 damage. Granted, that requires a lot of mana or a lot of shenanigans, but still.
Of course, you could just substitute the Mogg Maniac for the beforementioned Saber Ants and get 416 1/1 ant tokens and then ... (see all)
