This card was designed when no card limits existed, so you could run more than 4, and no nonbasic hate existed. Even for pioneer designers they should have known that this was stupid.

I agree, Perfect_Genetics. Making swamp, plains, the Swampplains in the same set should have set off some kind of red lights. I wonder if they thought that having the negative sides of swamp and plains on one card (swampwalk, Karma, etc) would be enough of a downside. Obviously not.
