Am I missing something? He got screwed with this cycle along with the Giant and Kithkin. The Elf taps for mana, Treefolk can tutor a Forrest, Fairy has Flash AND Flying. The Elemental at least has a low mana cost going for it.

Why not play both?
And Goblin Recruiter.
And Moggcatcher.
So many tutors.

Dependant on format you'll certainly want to play Goblin Matron instead.
It costs , has one power less, but lets you put the card into your hand, meaning there no card disadvantage for you.

I usually use boggart harbinger to find goblin recruiter, then basically order my draws for the next like ten turns

Play this, tutor Boggart Mob, play Mob next turn championing this. If Boggart Mob dies or is exiled, this comes back into play, and you get to fetch another goblin, preferrably another Boggart Mob so you can repeat the cycle.
I prefer Goblin Matron though. Goblin Recruiter is even better, obviously, but my friends would probably dip my deck in lighter fluid and set it on fire, so I'll settle for Matron.

very true but i tell you that extra attack point has saved my @$$ many times over. Plus with a goblin deck usually your all tapped out or close to, it doesnt do any good to have it in your hand if you cant play it and your gonna obviously get something thats gonna tap you out anyways. not really a disadvantage there.

Also, this one would be better for a Dragon's Herald deck.
