You people are missing the point. This doesn't make Dragon. This makes Dragons. Plural. Pacifism stops Flameblast Dragon. Condemn stops Shivan Dragon. But Wrath of God can't even make this go away if it's looking to be a long game.

I run it in my dragon casual deck with lotsa mana ramp.
Good card late game in casual when you're topdecking. Either you grab something usefull or you just plop out a dragon from this guy =)

Geosurge won't work at all with this, since activating the ability isn't casting a creature spell. Seething Song would work somewhat, but you really need reusable mana ramp to make this worthwhile-- A ritual would only let you get one dragon out, and this costs way too much if you're only getting one dragon out of it.

I remember back in revised days wishing there was a way to make a decent dragon deck. If somebody had told me you'd be able to make dragon counters I wouldn't have believed it. Then if they'd told me the counters would be shivans minus firebreathing I'd have asked for a hit of whatever they were smoking.
