Still prefer this artwork to the new ones. Don't really understand why all new wurms look like they have five huge buck teeth and a pair of tusks...

If 6/4 tramplers for five mana can qualify as mythic rares, I think I may need the purpose of the whole rarity explained to me again....

While not exactly intimidating today it definatly was great in alpha. The art is what makes this one my favorite version.

I agree, a great choice back in the day, I always feared him when my buddies played him. Was a huge threat back then.

A great creature during its time, although outcla.ssed today...I wouldn't run it today...

@A3Kitsune, Err, yes. Just take a look at Terra Stomper. The only reason this isn't strictly worse is that it costs GGG.

@wakkacraft:
No. Have trample? Yes. Cost 1 less? If it had 3 green mana symbols in it's mana cost, maybe. Reduced cost and trample? No way. Or at least, not unless it was Mythic.

If this guy were being designed today, he'd cost at least 1 less and have trample.

A3Kitsune you think 6/4s with trample for 5 mana is considered remotely good you have been playing with noobs.

Kalonian Wurm {3}{G}{G}{G}
Creature-Wurm
Trample
When ~ ETB, attacking creatures you control become 6/4 and gain trample until end of turn.
6/4
This would be the Mythic Version I think. It costs one more than Overrun, and essentially acts as Overrun on medium sized creatures. On little 1/1 token armies though, it's much better than Overrun :)
