No. It's the sudden burst of water that comes when the glacier on top of the erupting volcano presses the water out.
It's caused by a erupting volcano under glacier, but it's not the eruption, it's a consequnce of it.

@ Sk8er_Boi_1999 first off im sad i had to copy and paste that. second, you do this when you would be left with the upper hand. indestructible effects, protection from red effects, maybe your running a rave from the grave deck and want to use Liliana Vess's -8 ability or as it has been said Barren Glory. Their are other things too.
magic is only limited by the thousands of cards that WOTC has printed...

Just because it involves water doesn't mean it should be a blue card.
Look at what this does. It DESTROYS EVERYTHING (except enchantments and planeswalkers). It's not subtle at all. There is nothing blue at all about this card except the fact that it involves water.
