God, this in Lord Of The Unreal fueld illusion decks would be nuts. Bounce a Phantasmal Bear to play it again anyway, or even scarier reset your Phantasmal Image. Downright filthy.

This is beter than counterspell in so many situations, especially because blue has so many creatures that draw on their way to the board. I especially like it because even if they counter it, I still get to use my creature over again.

you need a legal target to cast this, you can't just cast it targeting no spells just to return a creature to your hand...
That aside, seems the perfect counter for a riku deck
