Maybe this is unintentional, but I think it's fun how similar this is to Poison the Well.

From a mono-black perspective, this feels pretty weird. 2BB to destroy a land with a lifegain rider.

The fact that hybrid cards are considered by the game to also be another color, even if you didn't use that color, actually goes a long way in letting me accept small color pie transgressions like the above.
