Even if you cannot counter certain instant or sorcery, you still get to search the library for all copies and remove them. Good stuff.

When I first got into Magic Online Force of Will had just come out, so everyone in the casual multiplayer was playing with them for fun.
I got mad. I turned to this. It rarely worked but when it did it felt so good.

Extremely good against any sort of combo deck - zapping all of your opponent's Yawgmoth's Will or Master Transmuter or Thopter Foundry can almost win you the game in one play.

Seems like this will be excellent with Arcane Melee. It will cost as much as a Counterspell then, and will be able to neuter any threat enabled by the global effect from your opponent's side.
