I still find it strange that this, Drowner of Secrets, and whatever other creatures that use tapping different creatures you control of a certain type can tap themselves through summoning sickness on their first turn out.

No one has mentioned Summon the School? With her ability you can make enough tokens to tap them to pull Summon the School back from the graveyard and cast it again...

Not enough mana? Stonybrook Banneret. Tap Stonybrook Schoolmaster as the two wizards and you can create enough tokens to bring Summon the School back TWICE in the SAME TURN. With only a single Banneret thats 6 mana for 8 tokens. Which you can combo with plenty of other stuff in the same block

better, but a one shot spell. especially in blue, you will have other wizards. this costs 1U to activate instead of UU, and can be recycled. does lose the element of surprise though

What's also not so bad about this card is that it can tap itself the first time this effect is used (if you plan on using it more than once until your next untap step) as one of the two wizards needed.

This is my favorite merfolk... I love the art, and its just really fun to play her... Just 6 land to double cast cryptic command, its pretty easy to pull off, not to mention any instant or sorcery your opponent plays... She looks like a merfolk planeswalker! :D

i wish it was for merfolk but most merfolk are wizards anyway

Twincast isn't reusable.

Pretty good against counter spells (not counter creature spells), but other than that, it does really loose the element of surprise.

When they look at your lands and your wizards, they'll think twice before casting all those... hell, almost anything ! Though you often lose blockers and expose yourself, I think it's often worth it.

Gatherer works better in the Companion app!
