@Sir: No, it can't reduce colored mana, only colorless.
This whole cycle's flavour is that they use the Moxen around their necks ^_^

Okay, not only is this card awesome, but admit it. That goblin looks totally bad@ss.

Good catch, Mystical_Tutor! It certainly doesn't look much like the Hildebrandt's regular art to me suggesting a possible solo job. Perhaps the updated credit was a standard partnership thing, like Lennon/McCartney or Jagger/Richards.
RIP Tim, 1939-2006.

Who is really the artist? The other printings list only Tim Hildebrandt.

If only you could murder this creature to get a copy of the Mox it's wearing. Sacrifices must be made.

I honestly like this lord way better than Goblin King, the mana excel it gives goblins is amazing, especially when you have more than one in play.

5/5 for goblins. The only other worthy 3 drop for a goblin deck besides Goblin King. Goblin King + Goblin Warchief= Coming soon in MGC2010

A 2/2 creature with haste, that gives other goblins haste, and makes goblins cost less? For three mana? There is no reason to not use him in a goblin deck. I'm surprised he's not a legendary creature.

Nobody's compared it to Goblin Chieftain yet?
I prefer the new guy, but the cost reduction is probably more valuable than the power/toughness boost for some people. The haste is what's really important anyways.
And it makes more sense to me if it's a ruby medallion around his neck, rather than a Mox.
