Just one of many reasons why Arabian Nights was one of the best sets ever printed, if not the best set.

Its kind of similar to an uncounterable enchantment that costs 0 mana, but with a drawback of taking up a land drop.
Brutal card, can turn your opponents removal into life, can get some life out of chump blockers who were dead anyways, and can sacrifice stolen creatures.

I underestimated this card until i tried it out. It is REALLY pivotal in my legacy walls deck
Usually it goes like this:
block with wall of blossoms. Sacrifice it with diamond valley. Then use volrath's stronghold to draw wall of blossoms again next turn. Infinite blocker and you still get to draw a card every turn.

Quite possibly my favorite land ever... well, after Tolarian Academy ;-)
*incredibly* useful in my Gimme deck.
If they try to reclaim one of their critters, into the Valley it goes!
I put one of these in pretty much every EDH deck I build,
as it can make you come out ahead when someone plays a Wrath.
My favorite EDH use for this is in tandem with Dominus of Fealty-
I don't just steal someone's critter every round... I eat it, too!
@Pedrodyl- this will not be in FTV... it's on the Reserve List.
If you want one, might as well get one before they cost even more!

Great for a Skullbriar commander deck. While it is unfortunate that it doesn't produce mana, it is a sac outlet that is typically fairly difficult to deal with. The artwork also looks really nice. 4/5
