Ridiculous card, especially with Mirari's Wake. I thought Wellwisher was bad enough.

Why I like this card? There are several reasons: 1. It is a hybrid which means you can play it in any deck with green or white. 2. It's got a solid 2/2 body for its mana cost. 3. You can feed it with mana you don't need to gain life. 4. It's a *** ELF CLERIC! So, what's not to love??

I love Oracle of Nectars so much! Right before your turn starts, you can use up all of your leftover mana to gain that much life.

Doesn't strike me as narcissistic at all. The Lorwyn elves were so narcissistic that if they thought you were less pretty then them, they would kill you. The Shadowmoor elves sacrifice themselves to preserve whatever beautiful things are left in the world for all (who can) to enjoy. That's altruism, not narcissism.

Frickin' crazy card if the other player isn't able to take care of it off the bat.

yeah I'm running this with Sanguine bond in my life link deck. Oh my goodness once Sanguine bond comes out the game becomes, do as much damage as i have mana for every turn. I don't ever have to attack again haha
