This guy has tons of awesome friends! Bushwhacker, Scute Mob, Loam Lion, Elite Vanguard, Wild Nacatl, Hada Freeblade, Birds of Paradise, Joruga Warcaller, mana elves, Protean Hydra, Feral Hydra, Dragonmaster Outcast, Joruga Treespeaker, Noble Hierarch, Soul Warden, Steppe Lynx, Student of Warfare... and that's just in Standard!

Ranger of Eos should have been reprinted in M11. His reign of awesomeness while he was Standard-legal added some much-needed dimension to weenie decks by slightly increasing their mana curve and CA-potential, but he was never broken or over-centralizing. It's a card that its designer, Invitational winner Antoine Ruel, can truly be proud of, and I hope to see it in M12.

This is such a cool card, 3W for a 3/2 body and you get to tutor 2 creatures is huge. I like the confident relaxed way of the ranger depicted, he's like "I'm here and I brought you some help, relax we'll work this out".

I wonder if Mikaeus, The Lunarch likes being perched on her arm

Cenn's Tactician loves this guy. And I'm pretty sure it's mutual.

The Ranger asks you but one question: "Do you want to rule the board?"

This guy is much, much better in Modern than he ever was in Standard or Extended.
