Same colours as Watchwolf and Woolly Thoctar. Those 3 and the required lands are a great opening hand for any aggro creature deck.

@guest
It is a turn two 3/3 but it happens so often that it can reliably be known as a 1drop 3/3
Turn one forest wild nacatle
Turn two plateau or forest lush growth

I use Arid Mesa to pop out Sacred Foundry, but whatever works. I obviously need some Stomping Grounds.
@ Guest:
Let me bring the light to your dark cave and show you the wonder of dual lands with basic land types. This is used in decks that can run Sacred Foundry, Temple Garden, and Stomping Ground or the alpha equivalents which have no drawback. I always play this turn 1 as a 1/1 or 2/2 and it always swings the next turn as a full on 3/3 due to the presence of fetchlands like arid mesa, windswept heath, and wooded foothills
Personally I use the shocklands from Ravnica because if I were concerned about my life total, then my deck is too slow.

Brings back memories of the old staple, Kird Ape and his friend, Taiga. Aahh, the old days................Huh? what? ...Sorry, I drifted off there for a minute.

This is the kind of cat I want guarding me. She hits hard and fast, given the right, easily attained, conditions, and several times was the main reason why I was winning in draft.

Thank goodness for useful commons. Always a breath of fresh air to see jewels like this mixed in with the worthless filler that Wizards likes to make commons into.

One of the best one drops currently in standard. Cheap cost, yet powerful enough to be a threat to any opponent. Hey I see one now. Here kitty kitty, here ki... aaahhhhh! (Word of advice: Don't go near a Wild Nacatl, uuhhggg...).
