wow, this is a pretty good battlemage; giving ur exalted creature the ability to bypass pesky 1/1 blockers or all blockers for that matter is pretty cool

Jund battlemage I think is one of the better ones with its token creation ability, but this one is easily second, use the target creature gains flying with branching bolt to blast multiple creatures at once, and give your bruisers trample. If nothing else it's still a 2/2 for 3 which isn't horrible either, at least gives you something to block with.

This is one of the best battlemages out there. In bant, with all that exalted, for just one mana that 10/10 that would be chump-blocked becomes trample. Helps so much. Flying doesn't hurt either.

The perfect complement to Exalted. The one thing that kills Exalted is chump, and this has two ways of solving that problem.

i must say that this is a good card.....have you ever comes to you that bant decks have a keyword called EXALTED....so you attack only with one creature and many times it is stron :) so TRAMPLE is the second key word in bant ok it makes sence

Pretty solid limited and casual card, but I'd rather play Rhox Charger if I needed evasion and exalted ever becomes a viable constructed deck.

Funnily enough, I think it's the worst of the battlemages. It's abilities are kinda redundant, especially compared to the likes of Jund Battlemage and Grixis Battlemage.

It subtly makes the point that, before the Conflux, Bant did not know of red mana.

I think this is the best of the battlemages.

I am not a big fan of 3+ color decks unless they are 5 colors. My main issue with this battle mage is: when is trample better than flying?
