There's a reason that people use magic in Esper, "silencer."

Should be 1UB, innate deathtouch or 1U, B for deathtouch until end of turn.

Would you rather pay six mana in two colors for a 1/2 deathtouch... or one mana in one color? Wasteland Viper may have come out over four years later, and it's green to boot, but still. The viper even has another mode.

"... and thus require mana/magic to get any abilities."
If it had deathtouch to begin with the flavor would make sense. As it is, it's not only terrible, but backwards.

No, just no. It could as well have been black and not an artifact, it doesn't have a place in esper anyway.

Very, very weak... not worth playing in any kind of artifact deck.

For death touch (and the fact that it's 1/2 and not just 1/1) I would put up with the seemingly higher mana cost. Used in the RIGHT situation (operative word here, folks) he's not that bad. I don't see the reason for all of the hostility.

compare this to vampire nighthawk. Makes this guy look pretty bad. If they had given him perma death touch, that would have balanced his mana cast considerably.

Where's the 0/5 marker when you need one?
