This is basically a force spike that is focused on non-creature spells... pretty sweet. The amount of times this will be useful far outweighs the number of times it won't. The artwork is also wonderful, great card.

It's good ot see a cheap ***erspell back in Blue that only has a small drawback. Great early game play when players have to tapp all their mana to get soming out on the field.

Haha! I love the flavor text.
Jund? There's a hole in your plan.

Not played often in Standard, but kicks a lot of butt in Legacy. Piloting an MUC, this saved me many times against other control decks.

I like spells for which saying the flavor text during its casting is perfectly appropriate.

Really good in the old standard when it was up against duress, preordain and a ton of other one-mana non-creature spells. But now it's a little poor.

Comparable to Flusterstorm. Pack these for an artifact/enchantment control metagame, and Flusterstorms if you're worried about combo decks.

I imagine this being useful in an aggro deck of some sort, keeping removal off your guys. Even creature-control decks can use it that way, with little color investment.
