You would think an artistic rendition of Ajani Goldmane falling into a lava pit on his first plainswalk to Jund from the Alara Unbroken novel would make more fitting card art for this one, given the entire Alara block is mostly based off of the Unbroken novel.

You can use it early on for the mana and later on to kill a creature and if you have a Stuffy Doll you can use him to damage your enemy.
