Pretty much a stritcly more abusable Lurking Jackals.
And what a sweet ass.

I think this card is better than people give her credit for.
On turn 1, she does what a 1-drop does, which is, essentially, be a one-drop. She can trade with most things, like an Elite Vanguard or whatever, or at least get in the way. At worst you've got something on the field when they might not; sure, having a Vampire Lacerator on the field is great, but I find that effectively the difference isn't THAT vast.
The difference is, Guul Draz can be very effective late-game, which won't really be that late since Vampires are about fast damage. She's a 3/2 with evasion for , and if you've got something like Vampire's Bite handy she can swing for 6. And it only cost you for the vamp and for the bite. In a vampire deck, that should be a finisher, or close to one.

A lady's hips are a beacon that cannot be disguised.

The thing about most one drops is that usually their fairly insignificant and can use up important card slots where other more powerful cards are. Lets face it most one drop creatures won't do too much to impact the game (not without exception(mother of runes springs to mind)) so if all you require is a one drop as a bit of a pawn, like as an early blocker than you might opt for this as if it does stay alive it could impact the game in a significant way later. Actually StreamHopper said it the best, its the versatility that's nice if its in your starting hand you get a creature out on turn 1 if its later you have a 3/2 intimidate for one mana. Also the fact it has rogue as subtype is good. I don't know maybe the curvaceous hips are making me bias. No i like this card when you cast it you know your making an investment for the future.

This is a very good one-drop for limited. Obviously, above 10 life, it is worse than most one drops, being a 1/1. However, in limited, people often miss their one-drops, don't have any, etc, so it may be able to sneak in for some damage. However, unlike most other one-drops, this is not a terrible top-deck late game. If you hit it later on, you get a 3/2 fear for one, as opposed to say, a 2/2 with no evasion for 1.
Obviously vampire lacerator is a better one-drop 1st turn, but it is a far worse top-deck late game. Both are strong cards in limited, but I don't expect this to make the jump to constructed, where the lacerator might.

Not too bad.... kinda has its own pseudo Kicker! Players can only pay the kicker if they have the mana which is usually later in the game (usually) the card after kicker is almost always better :-) This card is kinda the same except for if she lives long enough she kicks herself (no pun intended!) And she gets obviously gets better than a 1/1. Problem with her is that it appears that there will be a lot of vamp decks in the meta game... which means her intimidation factor will pretty much stank. Overall a decent common, but definitely not one that's gonna drastically cheese up someones deck for sure

I'd pick this over the Lacerater for the mid-late game value. I know a lot of people who have an odd obsession with turn one 2/2s, that end up being dead draws later. I'd rather have a 3/2 with new fear turn 4+ than a 2/2 at that point. Especially with pumping cards, this'll be good, seeing as -Oddly- there are fewer vampires with flying than I would have expected before Zendikar.
Maybe a new best friend of Sorin and Vampire Nocturnas? The deck could work out awesomely, and if not, be fun.

OK...Vampire Lacerater is a better one drop for the early game, but 3/2 with a good evasion ability in the mid to late game, which leaves you mana to play removal, bigger creatures, or anything else with the 2-3 mana you save on her makes it worthy of at least PLAYTESTING a couple slots. A better top deck than Lacerater in the late game, full stop.
