I love this card. My friends, not so much, I like playing multiplayer games and archenemy. In my archenemy deck I have 4 of these and they hate it. =)

This card is brutal, performs superbly in a R/B deck.

I still have two from my early days. I need to throw them in a deck.

Great in multiplayer free-for-all since at least one opponent is usually running something other than black or artifact creatures. Pretty good in duels as long as you can connect with it consistently (as previously suggested, Loxodon Warhammer for a power boost, trample, and lifelink is a great touch).
4.5/5

I've found a use for Volt Charge. Excellent.

My very first decent rare ever. Still run it in my Grixis EDH. Also due to an initial misreading and a later gaming session I have always called this thing 'Sovereign' or 'Harbringer'.

@DarthParralax: Hm... What exactly does any of the cards you mentioned have to do with Reaver here? They make a nice overall effect together, but it seems to me you're just posting random cards from your Kaalia deck.
Oh, and the card is nice. I'm not exactly a fan of 3/3s for 5, but haste, fear and pinging all opponents each turn makes it okay. Slap a Curiosity on him and he'll draw you p+1 cards (p being the number of opponents) just that turn.

Reminds me of soltari guerrilas for some reason. I bet they play well together

This is one of those: "Not this again" type of cards.
