Gotta love a card that is a Narwhal, and also has a quote by a sea troll, one of the worst creatures ever. Fun fact: this card is on the reserve list, meaning it will never be reprinted, along with such esteemed cards as the power nine.

I'm seeing "Knight" comparisons, but how much would you be willing to pay for a green Counter spell? First strike has never been easy to find on blue cards, so if you had a way to field it without using another color or a second card, your normally willing to pay a little extra. Not to mention red protection on creatures is perhaps the most important (renders most direct damage, first strikers, and double strikers useless against him).

4/5. Originally 3.5/5, but added half a star because of the great flavor of this card. One of the few casualties of the color pie.

I don't think I can NOT rate this 5/5 for being a narwhal. But, the basic breakdown:
-Cost: 2UU means that this might come out a little late but it could be worse. +0
-Body: A 2/2 for 4... well, blue tends to suck at creatures. +0.5
-Abilities: Pro-Red is not that common in straight blue, and first strike is even less so. This may be the justifier for it being so expensive, since blue is so far off color it hurts. In fact, FS is a primarily white and red ability! Cute... +2.5
-Others: NARWHAL! +2 (...but seriously, nothing special. +0)

In short, NARWHAL! 5/5 (A good novelty card; 3/5)
