See instead Burning Sands, for no upkeep cost and just red.

No one uses this card anymore. It's all about fiber optics these days.

"See instead Burning Sands, for no upkeep cost and just red."

Yes but with upkeep you get control of when it will end if it turns to be unfavorable to keep in play for some reason. That's about the only positive thing I can come up to compared to Burning Sands. :D

Because if you want a black control deck you splash red and green.

At first when I read the card, I read:
"When a creature is put into the graveyard from play, target land sacrifices it's controller"

An anti-jund card in jund colors? What?

This was a very powerful card back in the day.

It didn't age well, but it's still a pretty card to look at. Like a trophy wife with Alzheimers.

Well, it has some nice art.
That's about all it has going for it, though.

This is one of the worst cards you could put in a Prossh, Skyraider of Kher deck.

"I am large, I contain multitudes."
