Turn 1 - drop a swamp, cast dark ritual, cast Skull Fracture to discard the Maelstrom, cast Exhume to bring her into play.
Turn 2 - attack and damage your opponent with Maelstrom and start dropping Eldrazi on the table each turn.

@Demonic Angel: it's not very profitable to use her "cast a spell for free" in order to pump up a Manaplasm, mainly because the Manaplasm will revert to its original P/T at end of turn, and all combat damage has been assigned and dealt by the time the ooze grows. And as we all know, barring some shenanigans, there is only one attack phase per turn.
@Achilleselbow: the distinction between CAST and PLAY is irrelevant. Nowadays, PLAY is used when you could either cast (a spell) or play (a land) the given card. This is why her ability was reworded in Oracle, substituting "Play" for "Cast", since the ability specifically says "nonland card", making the use of "Play" needless.
You are correct, however, in pointing out that this would let you cast Phage without fear (Phage only cares that she was cast from your hand upon entering the battlefield, not that you paid her mana cost or not).

As has already been said, it's a great card, but that mana cost is incredibly restrictive. Still, at least you get access to most cards to cast for free, and being able to cast something for free so 'easily' gives you a lot of combo potential.

It's a shame she isn't a Legendary Angel. If she was, a dedicated 5 color Angel EDH would be possible.
Oh well, there's always the option of running a random 5 color General jut to get the colors.

Scion of the Ur-Dragon. Now Maelstrom Archangel and Kaalia of the Vast can cast whatever the heck you want them to for free. Disentomb is better than Entomb for this, and maybe ONLY for this deck. You Ur-Dragon your Dragons to the graveyard, you Disentomb, Kaalia and Maelstrom play em for free. Now instead of 'Any Dragon at my Command', you actually have 'EVERY Dragon' at your Command!

It has to say cast so it has synergy with cascade. Which probably makes it even more awesome. Drop a Maelstrom Wanderer then cascade, twice...ouch.
