Oh this art, this art...! The other art is ridiculous, how could they even create such a crap when this masterpiece came out first!!??. If were not for this art I wouldn't use it, can't bear to read such a beautiful name and then look at that other unglued-style, childish and bad art.
Why, oh why did they change it!???
Anyway, Zuran Orb, Crucible of Worlds and Mox Diamond all have great synergy with it.
For those who, like me, love this artwork, take a look at what this guy did, nice:

What a machine. And this artwork far surpasses the other.

Knight of the Reliquary is hands down in my top 5 cards ever. Killer artwork, completely absurd ability, and so much finesse and flavor that I could just puke fetchlands.
She is good at so many things. Mana fixing is just the beginning. Lotus Cobra+Fetchlands+KOTR is perhaps one of the most beautiful and simple mana interactions available in all of MTG.
Block->tap to sack a land-bring out a Ghost Quarter->sack the Quarter and another land=KOTR suddenly becomes 3 power more formidable than before. Have a Lotus Cobra in play when all of this is going down? Even better.
Lands that enter the battlefield tapped are also no longer an issue. Wait until the end of your opponents turn to activate the Knight, grab a Celestial Colonade, untap and swing. Or wait until they are foolish enough to waste a Path or Bolt and fetch a Sejiri Steppe in response.
There are just so many fantastic ways to utilize KOTR t... (see all)

Wasteland-locks, a huge beater, utility fetcher, mana-ramper, Sneak Attack and Dredge hater; all rolled into one.
He took Legacy by storm for a reason: because he tells half the combo decks out there to shut up while being one of the biggest possible fair-deck beaters available; walking all over even batterskulls.

My absolute favorite creature in Magic. Amazing all the way from its artwork to its natural synergy with the pace of a game.
