I'm hoping this gets reprinted as a split card, with this as it is being the first half, and the other being called "Confuse".

I wouldn't mind seeing this reprinted with new art. The dizzy-guy-on-the-verge-of-tears vibe has always creeped me out a little.

Counter target spell because all your lands are tapped and your overconfident opponent is spending all their mana on something large since you probably can't play anything. Win.

I love alternative counters... counterspell and cancel are so boring! Foil is my favorite, followed by Daze, two awesome counterspells that will just drive your opponent mad 'cause they'll never rest.

Someone explain why this card is still all the rage. Anyone can come up with an additional mana these days, and even if they can't you've just fallen behind in land drops. I suppose IF you get to play first turn of the game Daze works, but otherwise you'll now be 2 lands behind on your opponents turn 3.

Yeah, I think ZombieSnail gets this card. The best thing is when they ask if you have force of will, and ur tapped out, and then you say that you don't, so they play their huge spell, and you daze it =).
