Great concept, fun card, fits well with the set, but too expensive to be useful anywhere but casual. Will certainly be fun in games with your friends though.

A fun card. A little expensive, but I don't really care. I put it in for 3 reasons. To Cloven Cast Grixis Charm, Mind Funeral and Cruel Ultimatum. So much win.

Are we talking about the same mirror sheen? The expense and restriction does make this tough (and the rarity. really, Dragon Appeasement is uncommon, and THIS is rare?). But once you have it in play, with a deck designed to play a bunch of multicolored instants and sorceries, this card is going to be just unfair. Love it with cascade spells (even the crummy white/green one).

so expensive. so restrictive. such a piece of junk. compares very unfavorably to a somewhat similar, U/R enchantment mirror sheen. that one could be played, this one almost certainly could not.

I love how, for a while, redirection and copying were both done on red/blue cards, solely because R&D had no idea which one went to which color.

Late game it can copy things like Terminate, Blightning, or Cruel Ultimatum. If not, it's +7/+0 for Spellbound Dragon.
