This is the greatest wall ever. This combined with Wall of Denial makes blue white control freakin' awesome.

Plays well with Ajani Goldmane's token. Doubling your life at the end of your turn is always fun.

Oh, how I hate that it doesn't gain life based on toughness! Probably prevents OP...

Still, a 1/6 with flying and defender for 3W is good enough on its' own, especially with its ability to resist a Broodmate Dragon.

I played against a friend who had a lifegain deck that contained this, Cradle of Vitality, and Celestial Mantle, among other nasty lifegain cards. I was playing a blue-green Thallid deck.

Things got interesting when I put a Followed Footsteps on a Mycoloth one turn, then followed it next turn with another Footsteps on his Wall of Reverence. This meant that each upkeep, I got tons of Saprolings, which I devoured to make a Mycoloth that was twice as big, and then at the end of my turn, for each Wall of Reverence copy, I gained life equal to the biggest Mycoloth's power. It got out of hand so fast that we stopped doing the math-- "That guy's about a 750/750," and so on.

The only way he won was by virtue of his Felidar Sovereign.

This provides a nice protection against flyers PLUS helps you get back in the game if you're losing. I've played scute mob with it, and saw it gaining me 5 life... 9 life... 13 life... 17 life... oh my!! I was almost dead then I drew into it, it simply turned the tables completely. 5/5

I had three walls out in my control deck with Ajani Goldmane"s token on the field and a cradle of vitality. I got to 810 life and the avatar token swung for 786. I love this. Asha's favor would be an ok card for the avatar: Flying, First Strike ,and Vigilance.

This was my first Favorite Card. I had a fun Naya deck that revolved around it and Cradle of Vitality + random 5+power creature, usually ended with a Soul's Fire. Exponential life gain FTW. It did very well in my casual circle.
One game, however, I got up to over 2000 life and a Woolly Thoctar of about the same power/ toughness - but my opponent's lone Vampire Nighthawk kept me from attacking long enough for her to play a Blood Tribute + Sanguine Bond combo. Lesson learned: big creatures are better with trample.
