This guy combos amazingly with Demonic Rising

-5 health to all opponents every turn, a trampling 7/7 beatstick with wings and an insured 5/5 flying blocker/meal for the next turn.

Not to mention the intact flavour for all you demonic purists out there.

If we stop arguing I think we can agree on a few thing. He:
-He end games
-is Ridiculous in multiplayer
-is an awesome tribute to the original

If you're interested in Xathrid Demon's sacrifice ability, Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord has a cheaper casting cost with no penalty, should you decide not to sacrifice a creature. He also gains +1/+1 counters depending on how many creatures you have in your graveyard.
