As the designers were fixing and balancing the color pie they decided that enchantment destruction should be best in green, the color that wants things natural. White had to be shifted to second best. That meant green gets naturalize, and white looses disenchant, which was what gave white the number 1 spot. The cost difference between this and back to nature reflects the new color pie. Both colors get instant mass removal, but green can do it cheaper. That said, I run and appreciate both. At least, when I don't have a couple of Fracturing Gusts in the deck.

Depending on the current metagame, you might want to sideboard a few of these. Though if you want enchantment removal in a better package, there's always things like Qasali Pridemage.

Whoa, whoa. An instant-speed Tranquility for white? Holy smokes. This is really powerful.

If you plan on playing white in multiplayer (and aren't running enchantments), this is something you really should consider including at least one of. It tends to come in handy.

Same CMC as Tranquility, except that it's instant. A really great card, very underrated.
Update: While still the best enchantment slayer in white, the inexplicably released instant Tranquility, Back to Nature (with a CMC of only 2) obsoletes virtually all previous Tranquility-esque effects for any deck featuring green.

"Let everything return to it's true nature..."
Return to its true nature, eh? Could you say that when you play this, you're putting things... Back to Nature???
