You know, Jace isn't bad, but that doesn't mean He's the best. Justlook at the newer version coming out soon. that one practically blew my mind. Imagine if that one AND this one both went off at the same time.Insta-own, right there. by the way, its not fair to say that any planeswalker is better than any other. Its how you USE it that determines what you think of the card, so maybe your strategy is what you wanna revise.

A good card, not a 'power planeswalker' but with it's low cost and every-turn drawing, it can get you to your better things faster, and as for your opponents, I've found that I can instantly mill most of them with a traumatize and Jace on turn 7.
Alternatively, and a strategy I find pretty badass, is to make a three or four color deck, at least one being green and one black, and throw out liliana, discard 20 from your own deck and then instantly play all of the creatures at once, including other graveyards. awesome.

He gains +2 Loyalty counters for his 1st rank power. Meaning that on his 3rd turn of being on the table, he can pump out his 'king hit'. He's on the board no later than turn 3, meaning that his 3rd rank power happens on turn 6. You either use it to hurt them so you have a card advantage, OR, if you run something like Blue/Black/Green and have Liliana also, all kinds of hurt can occur. If you're running heavy green creatures and drop a 1/3 of your (60 card) deck into your graveyard and pop Liliana's 3rd rank power, you are very swiftly going to be visiting worlds of hurt on your opponents. And that's just one example. We haven't even gotten started on Polymorph or Makeshift Mannequin...

The lamest Planeswalker by far! 7 to -10 come on. Sure help me get to the cards like disintegrate in my burn deck or Oblivion Ring in my angel deck, or Crosis's Charm in my vampire deck, or Desert Twister in my elf deck, and the land to play cards like these. I rarely get mana screwed and being flooded with mana works in all my decks. I have played against him many times now and never has he bested me in a match, not even with a deck flooded with counters. Tezzeret is by far a better blue Planeswalker. Sorin is better at the mind control. I traded this fool for food. I sold the card and got some orange chicken with fried rice and egg roles.
