You guys questioning its rarity... you do realise this was printed 11 years ago...creatures have power creeped up ALOT since then...
This guy ate many a Nightwing Glider and Steadfast Guard of mine back in the day...

Attach any powerboosting or deathtouch equipment to him and you have a true card-advantage monster. Quietus Spike would make this guy an absolute terror to deal with; especially if they've been doing well during the rest of the match (I.E. you can't afford to keep feeding him creatures.)
I imagine this fitting right into a spider tribal deck (among many others!) Rancor is enough to make him unstoppable. Glad to see an old card that still compared to current creatures fairly well.

It doesn't compare much to today's power levels, but this guy used to be a very efficient 4-drop. He still holds a special place in my heart.

Nice blend of green/white. I don't know about it being rare, but it's usable.

I think this was originally designed as an uncommon but there was no more room left in the uncommon slots. This happens sometimes while designing a Magic set.
However, the mana cost is the average between power and toughness rounded up; consider then the two abilities... Not the most powerful nor the funniest rare to unpack, but still decent...

It would probably fit well at an uncommon slot, if only for flavor.

I've nicknamed this guy Doran, the Siege Tower's pet.

Rare?
I mean it's by no means a bad card, but rare?

The definition of decent... and nothing more.
Think I could really get to like the dude though.
