A 2/5 for 5 gets a 2/5 from me.

Is what he SHOULD have done to match his amazing card art D:"
not really....seeing as how Snapping Drake is 4 mana for a 3/2 flying, a 3 mana 3/4 with flying, great artwork, and a landfall ability to make it stronger would be waaaaay too abusive

Meh. Kinda one sided. I would rather pay the same cost to get a Blue flyer with an equal P/T
2.5

A weak/expensive card that will strike terror in limited formats. 2/5! That's almost unbreakable without bombs or black removal. And then, you're using your removal on a 2/5 common. It's just demoralizing. Is blue on the weaker side in Zendikar limited?

When they finally make an awesome, rare drake card, it will have awful artwork.

True, wizard has been pulling drakes out of thier * since technically they are the dumb down version of their dragon cousins. The artwork is masterfully down but th ecard itself is nothing more then a 5 drop 2/5 blocker with wings, and a pretty picture.

Strictly worse Belltower Sphinx, but pretty awesome in limited. I've beaten down with a Sky Ruin Drake with a Trusty Machete many a time

You'd think something called "Sky Ruin Drake would be a little more ruinous than P2... But it flies and has decent T, so it's not a complete waste; just a regular waste.

It seems Wizards has repeated its mistake with Snapping Drake of putting amazing art on a terrible card...
