this card actually SUCKS BADLY.
he is a major major target.
red players have NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER IN KILLING HIM RIGHT AWAY (lightning bolt)
blue/green - Mind Control, then Harrow (what now ***?)
white - i think we all know (Path to Exile)
black - i dunno, Tendrils of Corruption? Bone Splinters?
srsly, this guy has got all of you under some sort of spell or something.

Turn 1: Black Lotus, black lotus, ob nixilis, swamp.
Turn 2: Black Lotus, black lotus, dark ritual, balduvian rage.
Turn 3: Any land.
Turn 1: Opponent takes 3 life.
Turn 2: Opponent takes 14 life.
Turn 3: Opponent takes 3 life.
TOTAL: 20 life lost.
All in all though, he definatley deserves mythic status. His ability is just too good, seeing as there is so much land fetching going on anyway.

I love this guy, but as a hardcore demon fan, i dont think this really personifies the way black works. Maybe if the landfall was "You lose three life and put three +1/+1 counters on Ob" it would seem more demon like. this card doesnt punish you enough for summoning him. Love Ob, but he does have a lot to do to live up to suicidal black.

This guy would be awesome with Korlash, Heir to Blackblade. +6/+6, opponent loses 6 and you get 2 free lands, all for discarding a copy...

Now THIS is a Mythic Rare. Flavorful, clearly has some story significance and of course an immensely powerful card. Would love to see him printed as a planeswalker in a future set.

Ob Nixilis? More like Ob "NOXIOUS!!" Any mana grabbers can make this Demon into an even BIGGER demon! Harrow is a good way to start it off, and also Terramorphic Expanse, Kodama's Reach, or even a Armillary Sphere might help. 5/5.
