Vines of Vastwood overshadows this in terms of defensive flexibility, but this can be considerably more powerful than Vines when on the offensive. Insanely efficient with Infect or Trample (or both), and also works fine with multiple smaller attackers for a sneaky victory, or while blocking for the surprise-kill of a large creature. It's a shame there's only a couple of months remaining to use it, but hopefully it will appear in a core set in the future.

This card is just sick with infect and trample. I think it's overpowered and needs to be balanced.

Got to love the one mana cost :)
Use it in a heavy landfall deck to have lots of frests in play.
fastbond or exploration could work good aswell

This card with Timbermaw Larva is a lot of fun. With just 6 lands, you can swing for 14.

I've never bothered putting Giant Growth or Titanic Growth in any of my mono-green decks...now I know why.

Unfortunately, the decks that run pump spells want something faster than this.
