I have not yet brought someone's life total to 0 using this creature. I have now brought him out about 10 times.. they always forfeit. Its just no fun.

Just played a game on MTGO against a guy who used Polymorph to get him out. I used Journey to Nowhere on him and laughed.

does Icy Manipulator affect Emrakul?
does it cause Emrakul to tap when its controller declares attack so the defender may not take damage and prevent the annihilator effect?

Just got rap**d in the face by this guy after he came out on turn 6 from a Summoning Trap. Its sick to think he could've gotten him out for 0 if I had countered something.

Emrakul is good but the secret to making him tougher Ahem Shroud. I got lightning greaves on emrakul and promplty avoided a nasty incident ;)

I agree. The fact that it's colorless makes it a whole lot easier to play. Besides there are already tons of ways to put creatures into play without paying for them (although that won't trigger the extra turn ability). The real annoyance for me is Anihilator. Combined with the extra turn it basically turns this card into a "you win the game" condition. They should've either reduced the number, or made anihilator hurt you too which, as you said, would work much better, flavour-wise.

Oh, and Fist of Suns might be interesting with this. Or Maelstrom Archangel.
