So, for EDH: Geist of Saint Traft as your commanded, Sovereigns of Lost Alara on the field. Attack with Geist, get a 12/12 trample hexproof :D And a 4/4 flying angel!

Uril the Miststalker can be a 17/17 trampler with Annihilator 2 with this thing alone on him.

Any bets as to whether or not Uril's price will skyrocket?

I just got my face ripped off by a deck build around this and Sovereigns of Lost Alara. I did manage to kill it with my Kor deck, with a play set of each Oblivion Ring, and Journey to Nowhere (and no I don't have any paths). I out ran its removal with cheap creatures and equipments (loose the creature move the equipment to keep a big creature) and exiled the big stuff he played.

It's pretty simple: mechanics are more important than flavor. A card that expensive, and with all the drawbacks of an aura, needs the evasion to make it more appealing. Plus, it's no fun to buff up your creature so obsenely and yet be unable to smash your opponent in the face with it.

Got one of these in the first magic booster pack I ever bought EVER and got absolutely stupid in the parking lot I opened it in, jumping up and down and whatnot...

ANYWHO!!! throwing it in my eldrazi deck. Will work great with the mana ramp creatures ooooor one of my delightful Eldrazi drones.

Wow. looking back on this comment a year later I sound kind of silly. "IM GOING TO CAST THIS WITH MANA ON A CREATURE!!!" Ive come a long way..
